The majority of people from Malta are Roman Catholic, but other religious denominations are also represented with Anglican, Church of Scotland, Greek Orthodox, Jewish, Methodists and Muslim communities.

Malta is full of churches and services are available all day on Sundays. Some of the churches also offer services Saturday evenings, with a few with services during the week first thing in the morning or in the evening.

Other services available in Malta are: Anglican, Adventists, Baha’i, Bible Baptist, Buddhist, Greek Catholic, Christina Evangelical Church, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Church of Scotland, Evangelical Church of Germany, Greek Orthodox, Jehovah’s witnesses, Jewish and Muslim services.

Many of the churches in Malta are excellent tourist attractions, like St Johns Co.Cathedral above, but it should be remembered that these churches are places of worship. It is therefore important to note that when visiting, please show respect and dress accordingly like shoulders should always be covered.
